Current Situation (Personal Perspective)

I left my previous job at the end of last year and decided to scale up the business by focusing on staffing for manufacturing, clinical development, and regulatory affairs in the field of cell and gene therapies since March this year. We formulated the direction of the business, devised strategies, created a logo, developed a marketing plan, built a website, established internal job descriptions and career paths, set up HR evaluation systems, hired employees, arranged training environments, conducted sales activities, and established various SOPs and processes. Before I knew it, I found myself entering the fifth month of joining. Time flies frighteningly fast.

Finally, operations have started to fall into place recently, and I was somewhat surprised to find that there are more inquiries and requests from global pharmaceutical giants than from small and startup companies. (Personally, I’d like to support Japanese bioventures more…) It seems that these needs are more recognized by global pharmaceutical giants after all.

In the future, I hope to share with all of you at Healthcare Connection the status of CGT-related approvals, development milestones, M&A, and occasionally personal insights that might be of reference. I would greatly appreciate your warm support and observation.
